1. Construction

OMH models are all handcrafted by skillful and experienced craftsmen. They are built to scale according to the original plans or pictures of the actual item using "plank on frame" or "plank on bulk head" construction method. 3. Material

At OMH, we put the beauty of each model first, so we use the highest quality of wood that are either locally available or from imported source such as rose wood, ebony, mahogany, teak, western red cedar� All timbers are air dry or kiln dry before production to ensure OMH products withstand different climate across the globe.

4. How long it takes to build a model?

It takes about two hundred hours to complete a model such as 36" HMS Victory. Custom built models require longer time. Our certificate of authenticity will state the number of hours required to finish each stage in contruction the model.

5. How to order?

6. Payment & Credit

We take most payment types such as credit cards (including apple pay or google pay), company checks, ACH or wire transfer. Net30 is available to a limited number of dealers that have high credit rating and require good references. For international order, we accept wire transfer only (except small orders). If you need to pay for an invoice, please click HERE to pay us via credit card, google pay or apple pay.

7. Delivery

Most items will be shipped within two business days via Fedex/UPS. Shipments take approximately 2-5 business days within the 48 states. A tracking number is provided upon shipment of each order. Oversized items may be shipped via common carriers. If address is located in the states of Hawaii or Alaska, please contact us for exact shipping quote or utilize the online shipping estimate in the drop ship area.

8. Freight/Shipping

Standard ground shipping is free for consumers in the conttinental USA.
For dealers, all freight charges are invoiced with each order as a separate amount at the bottom of the invoice and no discount are allowed on freight, with exception of promotions. For drop shippers, all freight charges are listed on drop ship price list.

9. Minimum order

a. For Physical stores: A minimum order or deposit of $750 is required to open a trade account with OMH. Orders that proceed after initial order do not require any minimum amount.

b. Dropshipper (Online Stores) packages: We have Silver, Gold and Diamond packages for online stores to save $ and utilize all of our professional marketing materials such as products images and videos together with promotion and marketing allowance to help you sell. 10. Packaging

Each ship model is individually packed in a carton box. On many models, a wooden frame is added for maximum protection. Most models are packed fully assembled. For simple sail boats, the masts are folded down to save shipping space. Setting up the masts is simple with included instruction.

11. How can I order from overseas?

You can purchase from our dealers and distributors around the world. You can also order on our web site and we can ship the products directly to your door. If you would like to become our dealer or distributor, please register with us.

12. Natural Materials

Wood is a natural material that has different colors, grain patterns and overall texture and appearance. All wood will change color under the effect of UV light and oxidation. Our products are made of natural wood, thus the final products' color may be different from the pictures on the web site or catalog or any pictures in email communication.

13-14. Return & Refund Policy

We have recently implemented an EASY 31-day return policy with no restocking fee for our valued customers.

For damaged or defective items:

1. Report Damages or Defects: If you notice any damages or issues within 7 days of getting your shipment, email us at service@omhusa.com with pictures. Most issues with wooden ship models can be fixed easily with super glue or wood glue.
2. For Fixable Damage: We'll swiftly guide you through the necessary steps to repair it. If replacement parts are required and available, we'll do it fast and for free.
3. For Non-Fixable Damage: In the event that damage can't be fixed, we'll sort it out. We'll either pick it up or tell you how to dispose it safely. Then, we'll send a new one ASAP. And if, by chance, a replacement isn't readily available, rest assured, a full refund will be issued without delay.

For All Other Reasons (Including Incorrect Orders or Change of Mind):

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please don't hesitate to contact us at service@omhusa.com, we are committed to making it right for you. Alternatively, you may follow these steps to return the product to us for a refund:

1. Reach out to us within 31 days of receiving the shipment to obtain an easy return authorization.
2. For a smooth return process, please ensure the item is securely packed in its original package, clearly marked with the provided RA#. Please ship the item(s) back to our warehouse within 7 days of getting the RA#. Once the item is received in its original condition, we'll swiftly process the 100% refund with no restocking fee.
3. For dealers, please note that the original shipping cost is non refundable. For consumers, since the regular ground shipping is free, you will receive 100% full refund, any extra shipping cost paid such as express shipping or international shipping is non-refundable.

15. Backorders

Our standard policy is to ship all back orders. Lead time of order may vary, please contact OMH for more information.

16. Price

FOB Ontario, California. All prices are subject to change without prior notice. Pricing errors happen, and we reserve the right to either honor or cancel orders in the event of a pricing error

19. Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policy

Old Modern Handicrafts (OMH) has a MAP policy in effect for most of its products distributed to retailers. This policy will guarantee that all of our dealers can compete on an equal basis and not be subjected to arbitrary and damaging price cutting by a small group of retailers. The MAP pricing policy applies to all retail channels including (but not limited to) retail locations, catalogs, internet sales and online auctions. If a product on OMH displays a MAP price other than zero, this MAP price is the minimum price that dealers may display in any advertising for that given product. Advertising is considered to include printed and broadcast advertising media, printed catalogs and pricing displayed on internet and online auction sites. Please refer to the OMH Dealer Network website to view the Minimum Advertised Pricing for our products. Dealers displaying a price lower than our designated MAP price for any given product will be considered in violation of our MAP pricing policy. Adherence to the MAP policy is mandatory for all OMH dealers. Dealers who are found to be noncompliant with our MAP policy will have their dealer privileges with OMH suspended immediately.

20. Other Conditions

Typographical and stenographic errors subject to correction. Purchaser terms inconsistent with those stated herein which may appear on purchaser's formal order will not be binding to OMH.
