At Old Modern Handicrafts, we specialize in creating museum-quality, custom-made models tailored to your specific requirements. Over the years, we’ve crafted models for museums, corporations, and individuals worldwide, including renowned names such as RMS Titanic Attractions, Grey Goose Vodka, National Geographic, The New York Times, and Ralph Lauren.
Our building process typically takes 3-6 months, depending on the complexity and availability of materials.
We have access to a vast array of resources, including museum collections from around the world, to source the materials we need. However, if you have specific blueprints, photos, or detailed preferences, feel free to share them with us. We’ll collaborate closely to create a high-quality model that you’ll be proud to display, whether at home or in your office.
You can provide us with your desired specifications—such as level of detail, paint color, custom nameplates, logos, or flags—or allow us to conduct thorough research to include the most accurate and impressive details possible in the scale of your choice.
How to Order:
1. Browse our custom-made collection to see if there's an item you'd like to order. If not, contact us via email with the item details (size, photos or plans, if available).
2. We’ll evaluate the project and provide you with a quote and estimated delivery time.
3. A 50% deposit is required to begin the order.
4. We’ll conduct thorough research and send you a summary of what will be included in the model.
5. Upon your approval of the summary, we’ll begin building the model.
6. During the process, we’ll send you photos at each stage for your review. You may suggest revisions until you’re satisfied. The model progresses through three main stages: building the hull, adding deck details, and painting.
7. Inspect the quality of each stage carefully before approving, as changes may be difficult after moving to the next stage and may incur additional charges.
8. Once the model is finished, we’ll send you photos or videos for a final inspection. We can make any last adjustments at this stage to ensure your satisfaction.
9. After final approval, we’ll ship the model in a custom wooden package to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
10. Once received, proudly display your model in your home or office!
