Description:

Celebrate the legacy of the Royal Navy with this handcrafted model of HMS Caesar (1793), an impressive 80-gun ship of the line launched during the French Revolutionary Wars. Expertly built to museum-quality standards, this model faithfully captures the strength and elegance of one of Britain's distinguished warships.

Featuring finely detailed gun decks, hand-rigged masts, authentic fittings, and an elegantly decorated stern, every element reflects exceptional craftsmanship. Master craftsmen build each model from historical references and original plans using premium hardwoods such as western red cedar, rosewood, and mahogany. Constructed with the traditional plank-on-frame method, each model requires hundreds of hours of meticulous handcrafting and passes strict quality inspections before leaving the workshop.

Mounted on a solid wooden display base with brass pedestals and a nameplate, this HMS Caesar model is a timeless addition to any nautical collection or home décor.

History:

Launched in 1793, HMS Caesar was an 80-gun third-rate ship of the line built for the Royal Navy at the beginning of the French Revolutionary Wars. Designed by Sir Edward Hunt, she combined powerful firepower with excellent sailing qualities, making her a valuable asset in Britain's battle fleet.

Throughout her career, Caesar served with the Channel Fleet, participating in blockades, convoy escorts, and naval operations against France during both the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Although she was not the flagship in a famous battle, her long and reliable service contributed to Britain's control of the seas during a critical period in European history.

After nearly three decades of service, HMS Caesar was retired and broken up in 1821, leaving behind a legacy as one of the Royal Navy's dependable ships of the line during the Age of Sail.
