Each Switzer Craft Bullet boat is handcrafted in our workshop using premium woods such as Western Red Cedar, Mahogany, Teak and US -made Hexcel fiberglass with System Three marine spar varnish - employing the traditional plank-on-frame construction method. Every build is completed with meticulous precision over approximately 4–5 months. Customization options include dimensions, wood selection, finishes, deck detailing, cockpit layout, and personalized features.
The Bullet features a narrow, purpose-driven hull with sharp, dynamic lines designed for speed, agility, and precise control. Hand-finished decks, polished fittings, and carefully shaped surfaces emphasize the boat’s racing character and technical edge. Length Overall (LOA): 16 ft (192 in) — this is the “Bullet 16” version, a proportional upscale of the original design.
Maximum Beam: 6 ft 3 in (75 in) — widest point of hull.
The original classic Switzer Bullet was 13 ft 6 in long, and the Bullet 16 plan is the larger version offered by Classic Wooden Boat Plans.
