Description:
Note: This gondola is a custom-made rowboat, built specifically according to customer requirements. The design features signature striping inspired by the iconic Riva Aquarama, combined with the customer's own branding colors, creating a unique and personalized interpretation of a classic Venetian gondola.
This custom-made Venetian Gondola Rowing boat is a fully functional, handcrafted boat that blends traditional Italian craftsmanship with bespoke modern design. Measuring 36 feet in length, the gondola is carefully built to preserve the elegant proportions of the original Venetian model, while incorporating customized aesthetic elements tailored to the client's vision.
The exterior design draws inspiration from the timeless striped detailing of the Riva Aquarama, reinterpreted to suit the gondola's graceful hull lines. The color palette is developed using the customer's branding colors, ensuring a distinctive appearance while maintaining a refined and luxurious character.
Each gondola is entirely handcrafted, requiring approximately 600-800 hours of skilled workmanship. Traditional construction techniques are still employed, using hand-laid strips of red cedar, which are then encapsulated in fiberglass and bonded with high-grade epoxy resin. The hull is finished with multiple layers of marine varnish, resulting in exceptional strength, durability, and long-term protection of the wood.
This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern materials ensures not only visual elegance, but also reliable performance and longevity, making the gondola suitable for both private and commercial use.
Customization Options:
- Lengths available upon request (including 24 ft, 21 ft, and 15 ft versions)

- Interior layout and seating
Please note that this gondola is produced exclusively as a special order item. Production and delivery typically require 90-120 days from order confirmation.
About Captain Heritage™
Built On Tradition. Guided by Experience.
Captain Heritage was founded on a simple belief:
Some things deserve to be made deliberately, carefully, and with respect for the sea
Long before mass production and disposable goods, mariners trusted what they could feel beneath their hands-solid timber, balanced hulls, well-forged fittings, and tools built to withstand weather, salt, and time. Every vessel carried more than crew or cargo; it carried craftsmanship, responsibility, and pride.
Captain Heritage exists to honor that enduring tradition.
Rooted in Seamanship
The title Captain represents more than rank. It signifies leadership earned through experience, calm judgment under pressure, and accountability when conditions are uncertain. A captain is entrusted not only with a vessel, but with lives, history, and legacy.
At Captain Heritage, this spirit of seamanship guides everything we create.
Preserving the Craft
Heritage speaks to what is passed down-and worth protecting.
Our work is shaped by the same principles that guided master boatbuilders for generations:
Hand-selected woods
Traditional construction techniques
* Designs inspired by classic working boats and timeless nautical forms
* Careful attention to proportion, balance, and detail
* Each piece reflects a deliberate approach: measure twice, build once, and never compromise where it matters.
* Made for Those Who Respect the Sea.
Captain Heritage is for those who value authenticity over trends, substance over shortcuts, and objects that reveal their story the moment they are touched. Whether displayed on land or used on the water, every creation is meant to feel purposeful, enduring, and honest.
These are pieces built to be appreciated-not rushed, replaced, or forgotten.
Our Philosophy:
* Timeless, not trendy
* Craftsmanship before scale
* Function informs beauty
* Respect for tradition, with confidence in the future
Captain Heritage is not about nostalgia alone. It is about carrying forward the values that made maritime craftsmanship legendary-and ensuring they remain alive for the next generation.
Captain Heritage - Leadership rooted in tradition. Built with respect for the sea.
