The Riva Scoiattolo 14' is one of the earliest and most charming speedboats produced by Riva, representing the origins of Italian wooden boat craftsmanship after World War II. Compact, elegant, and perfectly balanced, the Scoiattolo laid the foundation for the legendary Riva runabouts that followed.
This custom-made replica is handcrafted upon request, using premium Western Red Cedar, Teak, Mahogany, and select exotic woods. Built with the traditional plank-on-frame construction method, the model faithfully reproduces the hull lines, deck layout, cockpit details, and classic Riva styling. Each project requires approximately 4–5 months to complete.
Museum-grade attention is given to every detail. During the build, you will receive photo updates at each key production stage, allowing you to review and approve the progress:
1. Hull construction and planking
2. Deck detailing, cockpit structures, and fittings
3. Final painting, varnishing, and finishing touches
Upon final approval, the completed model will be carefully packed in a custom wooden crate with reinforced cushioning, ensuring safe worldwide shipping.
