History:

The IJN Mikuma was a Mogami-class heavy cruiser of the Imperial Japanese Navy, launched in 1934. Known for her role in the Battle of Midway in 1942, Mikuma was sunk following damage from U.S. air attacks, marking one of several losses for Japan in that decisive battle.
