It is carefully painted in original color: brown, red, green, teal, and white. The construction is absolutely incredible: see-through 3-D ship body from front to back and side to side, countless windows on three decks, first deck's window is tinted in blue, wooden stairs, wooden navigation towers, metal fences around the top deck, painted windows, "Spokane" imprinted in white on both side on the front and back of the ship, and along with many more exclusive ornaments. This beautiful model is rested on a painted wooden stand with two firm crafted wooden frames sustaining it. This model is completely hand built by skillful and creative master craftsmen; you will be amazed with its formation and how astonishing it looks. Comment: Mounting was off affecting what can only be described as a list--fixed with shims,...reattached upper rail that might have come loose in the crating process. Note: not a 100% accurate (Tacoma class vessel) reproduction, ...also many of the details are painted on rather than physically fabricated. Nonetheless, to my knowledge, it is the only Washington state ferry model available and it is well worth the cost. FYI: the WSF system is the world's largest inter-coastal ferry system in the world.
