The Pisa Tower, also known as the Leaning tower of Pisa, is the bell tower of the cathedral church for the city of Pisa in Tuscany, Central Italy. The tilt of the tower began during contruction because it was built on foundation that was too soft. It continued to tilt slowly over time until it was stabilized in the late 20th century.
