History:
The PARTY BOAT Outboard emerged during the rise of practical, family-oriented plywood powerboats in the mid-20th century. Designed to balance speed, stability, and simplicity, its 15-degree monohedron hull reflected evolving small-craft engineering-offering smooth planing performance, predictable handling, and improved comfort in choppy conditions. Wide chines and a stable bottom made it equally suitable for fishing, cruising, and social outings.
Equally important was its accessibility to amateur builders. With plywood construction, bulkhead-style framing, and full-size patterns that eliminated complex lofting, the design aligned with the growing do-it-yourself boatbuilding movement. The result was a rugged, versatile powerboat that combined straightforward construction with dependable on-water performance.
